The Bookworm Library is locatated in a bilingual primary school in Kobe Japan. It was built in 2019. The library is designed to encourage reading by making it a fun and exciting adventure.

The centre part of the library allows the kids to slide like worms through the holes and to read books in any position that they find comfortable. It may be sitting lying or leaning.

At the back of the room is a secret room that is covered with book shelves and kids have to find openings to slide inside. There they can immerse themselves into another world.
